Position: Recording Technician 

Where: Where ever the UUPGs and Bible less people groups located in the world.

When: The projects will planned based your availability. 

Who can do:

Some one who is a Christian, who has good computers skills, some one who has a heart for Unreached and Unengaged.. and Bible less people groups. 

Project info:

Unreached and Unengaged people groups need God's word like we all have for so long time. Eleven after all of these years.. they do not have scriptures in their own language. Even if some groups have printed scriptures... 95% of these groups can NOT read the printed word of God. These are Oral communities and need God's word in their own heart language on audio format so that they could listen and understand to be discipled. For this, Rhema for the nations partners with Bible societies and other translating agencies to record God's Word on audio format.

This recording is done in digital format on Laptop computers in the field where the Oral communities live. It could be in India, South Asia, or in SE Asia. It includes, research, Recording, Edit and Master phases. 

How does it benefit the Kingdom:

Unreached and Unengaged people groups will have audio scriptures, so that they could hear and understand. It will impact the whole people group. Once God's word is available among these people group.. it will generate the new leaders among the community, fuel Church planting movement, New songs, New believers and new Churches that self sustain, self propagating, and growing Churches. 

How long:

Each project takes 6 months time. Which includes, research, studio setup, Voice auditioning, Recording, proof reading, Mastering. 

How does it work:

• Once you get this info.. you pray and ask for a heart for Unreached people groups. If God leads you, you contact RFN office in Arlington, TX to confirm and to select a Nation that be could impacted.
• Then you along with another person will be assigned to a particular project where your heart is and will you get that particular detailed project info, You can raise your resources and travel overseas.
• Our office project coordinator who speaks English will pick you up at the airport and will train you with project with technical details.
• You then will travel by local train, Bus and in some cases by flight to the field area. A place to stay and basic ground work will be done by that time. You will be staying with your team mate. If it is not a husband and wife team.. a ministry woman worker will be with a woman team member.
• There will be Proof reader who speaks basic English will be with you to assist you through out the six month period.
• Once you reach.. you will settle in and start working on the project as you were trained by the coordinator. The Coordinator will stay with you until things are settled and project is underway.
• A possible cell phone and internet email can be made available based on the project.
• There will be a monthly reporting on the project progress. Continues technical support will be there for uninterrupted work.
• There will be studio setup, voice auditioning, recording, final proof reading and data back up as part of the project.
• Upon the project completion.. you will return and submit the equipment and recorded Data to the Editing department for further mastering purposes.
• After that.. you could return back to States or you could continue with another project as planned.

Or if God leads.. you could start using the recorded scriptures as a tool of evangelism and help plant small groups by using the mp3 audio players as audio Bibles.
